Qualitrack – Integration of connected torque wrenches and smart tools

Qualitrack collects, secures, and distributes data in real time. from torque wrenches, screwdrivers, and precision drills from many manufacturers. It enables traceability and compliance by feeding your ERP, MES, QMS, PLM, SCADA, and BI systems. Qualitrack is not a reporting or auditing tool; it guarantees secure, time-stamped data flows with high integrity.

Qualitrack – Industrial data hub

Qualitrack is not limited to transmitting connected tool data: it ensures their end-to-end quality. Each data stream is timestamped, signed, and validated before being made available to your systems, guaranteeing compliance with the strictest regulatory requirements.

In the event of a network outage, Qualitrack deploys a local buffer and automatically replays the measurements once the connection is restored, even reconstructing torque/angle curves. This resilience prevents any loss of critical information.

Thanks to its open interfaces, Qualitrack directly feeds your Data Lake, analytics solutions, MES, ERP, or IoT platforms. It supports standard industry protocols, including OpenProtocol, OPC UA, MQTT, and REST, ensuring broad compatibility with your multi-brand and multi-system environments.

FAQ

No. QualiTrack does not produce certificates, quality reports, or normative analyses itself. However, it plays a central role in ensuring that all data from connected tools (torque wrenches, screwdrivers, precision drills) is collected, time-stamped, secured, and transmitted without loss. Your business systems, such as MES, QMS, PLM, or BI, then use these comprehensive data streams to generate standardized traceability, audit reports, or compliance records required by your customers and regulatory agencies.

QualiTrack uses real-time contextualization to verify that each tightening or drilling operation is performed in the right place, on the right part, and at the right time. The tool is associated with an area, a workstation, or a product reference. If the context is not compliant, a prohibition command is immediately sent to the tool, the LED turns red, and the operation is blocked. On the other hand, if the conditions are met, authorization is given and the operator receives a green signal. This dynamic control mechanism prevents human error, secures the operator's actions, and enhances the quality of assembly in critical environments such as aerospace, automotive, and defense.

QualiTrack is designed to operate even in unstable network environments. If a key or tool loses its Wi-Fi connection, the tightening process remains intact thanks to a local buffer system. Missing data is automatically replayed upon reconnection, and torque/angle curves can be reconstructed retrospectively without any loss of critical information. This native resilience allows production to continue uninterrupted while preserving data completeness and reliability, which is essential for traceability and compliance.

QualiTrack integrates directly with major industrial systems: ERP, MES, QMS, PLM, CMMS, SCADA, and BI. Using standard protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, REST, SQL, etc.), it connects your tools to existing environments without custom development. It also feeds platforms for advanced supervision and analytics, enabling full exploitation of the collected data.

Yes. This is actually one of QualiTrack’s key strengths. The solution is based on DevI/O, the industrial front-end developed by Technilog, specifically designed to handle heterogeneous environments. Torque wrenches, smart screwdrivers, and drilling tools from different manufacturers or generations can all be integrated and synchronized.
QualiTrack thus centralizes all data into a single, coherent, and secure stream, turning the diversity of a multi-brand fleet into a real strength. This approach eliminates dependency on a single supplier and gives manufacturers the flexibility they need to upgrade their equipment while ensuring continuity and reliability of operations.
